At 17, North-Brisbane junior Zahn Spies is enjoying steady development and real momentum — switching from running to triathlon after an injury and quickly finding his place in the sport. Zahn balances school with selective training, valuing fun and gradual improvement while his club and support team give him a clear pathway. A recent 2nd place at the 2025 Oceania Junior Championships earned him automatic selection for the Junior World Championships and has him dialling in his training to deliver a strong performance on home soil.
