One kit, every ride. That was the point from the start.
Cycling has a habit of making simple things complicated. Race jersey. Training jersey. Good bibs. Backup bibs. Socks that apparently need their own personality. Foundation goes the other way.
It is THRONE's everyday cycling line: jersey, bibs and socks designed to cover the rides that actually fill a week — training, bunch rides, a hot lap that was absolutely meant to stay easy, and the coffee stop afterwards.
Your everyday kit, done properly.

Why start with the everyday kit?
Because that is the kit that has to earn its place most often.
Foundation is not a one-off capsule and it is not the piece you keep untouched for race morning. It is intended to be the permanent first layer of THRONE — the range you can reach for repeatedly without treating every ride like a product launch.
The brief was deliberately simple: make the everyday cycling set feel considered, keep the price honest, and focus the product on the conditions and routines Australian riders actually deal with.
The Foundation Jersey
The Foundation Jersey is available in men's and women's fits, in Blue and Black. The current Foundation product documentation specifies high-quality Italian fabrics and moisture-wicking materials, with the range designed around heat, humidity and early starts.
The fit is close and performance-led rather than loose. It is intended to sit cleanly on the bike and work across training, bunch rides and harder efforts without turning the everyday jersey into a pure race-only piece.
Documented price: $70 AUD.

The Foundation Bibs
If there is one part of cycling kit that becomes very difficult to ignore when it is wrong, it is the bibs. Usually somewhere around the point where sitting down becomes a negotiation.
Foundation Bibs come in men's and women's fits in Black. THRONE's current product documentation specifies Italian fabrics, moisture-wicking materials and the same chamois standard used across the THRONE line. The thinking is straightforward: comfort is not the clever place to cut corners just because Foundation is the most accessible part of the range.
They are designed as everyday training bibs — the pair expected to see regular use, long sessions and the normal punishment of an Australian training week.
Documented price: $110 AUD.

The Foundation Socks
White cycling socks. A bold commitment to laundry discipline.
The Foundation Sock is the simplest part of the system: a clean white sock designed to finish the kit without turning the accessory into the main event.
Documented price: $20 AUD.
Why the set exists
You can buy the pieces individually, but Foundation was built to make the complete-kit decision simple.
The documented launch pricing is:
- Jersey — $70
- Bibs — $110
- Socks — $20
- Jersey + Bibs Set — $150
- Jersey + Bibs + Socks Set — $160
The set is the clearest expression of the range: one jersey, one pair of bibs, and optionally the socks. Less time doing shopping mathematics. More time claiming the Saturday bunch is a recovery ride.

Built around Australian riding
Foundation has been developed around the conditions THRONE knows best: Australian training, with particular emphasis on Queensland heat, humidity and early starts.
That does not mean inventing a new performance claim every time the temperature changes. It means the everyday product has to make sense in the environment it is most likely to be used in — sweaty mornings, long summer weeks, group rides, endurance sessions and plenty of repeat washing.
Queensland summer is a fairly effective product-testing department.
Who Foundation is for
Foundation is not a test of whether you are a "real cyclist." It is for people who ride.
That can mean somebody finding their first regular bunch, a triathlete spending more time on the bike, an experienced rider who wants dependable daily kit, or someone who simply does not feel like paying a status tax every time they need another jersey.
The common thread is simple: the kit should feel good, look considered and be useful often.
What about sizing?
Foundation uses a firm performance fit, with separate men's and women's body-measurement charts. If you land between sizes, THRONE's current guidance is to choose the smaller size for a snug performance fit and the larger size for a more relaxed fit.
We have built a dedicated Foundation sizing guide for the full measurements and fit advice, because "probably a medium" has caused enough problems for cycling already.
Use the Foundation Sizing & Fit Guide before choosing your size.
